I remember Chris from my early days dock running in the mid to late 70’s. He worked for Watson and Scull and drove a bright green Bedford van. Legend had it that he always had to park somewhere where he could drive out forwards, as he couldn’t get reverse on the van’s gearbox. RIP Coomy.
